Unprecedented. Extraordinary. Unusual. Exceptional. Unbelievable. For the past eighteen months, we've relied on the same descriptors to convey what's been nearly indescribable. I am excited by the Liverpool John Moores University Fine Art Students' focus on the ordinary, the everyday... and the edible. This is a moment to celebrate not only cultural re-emergence generally but also the emergence of a new generation of artists, specifically.
